St. Louis Park
public schools foundation
invest in our kids... it just makes sense

The St. Louis Park school district has over 4,200 students, beginning with Early Childhood and Family Education and ending with the senior high school. These students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and bring to their schools a broad array of languages, skills, and talents.
The Saint Louis Park Public Schools Foundation funds over $30,000 of projects each year in the schools that would otherwise not be provided due to budget constraints.
All seven St. Louis Park public schools have been designated Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Students have consistently ranked high, as have the schools, in tests such as the ACT, and Minnesota Comprehensive assessments in reading, writing, and math proficiency.
Flat state funding has forced the district to reduce expenditures. The district has made over 7 million dollars in program cuts over the last several years. Some of these cuts have reduced the district's ability to ease students' transitions between programs and schools.
Last year we funded programs for Art, Math, Reading, and Career development. We are a diverse school district that manages to win national awards for quality, largely because of involvement of people in the community like you.
With your support, hundreds of kids take advantage of programs that would not otherwise exist.
